AMR is an engineering service provider. As such, we offer our clients expertise and solutions in the areas of planning, documentation, and digitalization of technical facilities. We support you in increasing the availability and reliability of your plants and thus ultimately enhancing productivity, while ensuring compliance with legal regulations. True to our philosophy, “Smart solutions for safe plants.”

Our history

Founded in 2001 as a technical office specializing in automation, measurement, and control technology, we were successfully active for many years as an international engineering service provider. After acquisition by ATOP Management GmbH & Co. KG in April 2019 and the renaming to AMR Mannesmann GmbH, we restructured with the goal of repositioning ourselves in the market.

Today, our focus lies on providing integrated services for operators of process plants, which includes engineering (studies, concepts, basic engineering, owner's engineering) as well as the documentation, and digitization of technical plants. With our Competence Centers for COMOS and HEXAGON, we are also a sought-after partner for the implementation and administration of CAD/CAE software applications.

01Engineering & Projects Management

Preparation of studies and concepts. Cross-disciplinary basic engineering with a focus on I&C (instrumentation and control) as well as piping planning for maintenance and turnaround projects.

02Owners Engineering Services

Operational engineering by AMR engineers as part of the client's team, on-site at the client’s location.

03Managed-Documentation-Services

Operation of the documentation service and maintenance of the as-built documentation on behalf of the client. Administration of the used CAD/CAE software systems and provision of resources to support documentation services in projects.

04Turnaround Support Services

Supporting clients in the planning, preparation, and implementation of system shutdowns.

05Integrity & Reliability-Services

Provision of maintenance & inspection services with the aim of ensuring the availability, reliability, and conformity of the systems.

06CAD/ CAE Services

Provision of engineering and design services in the software applications COMOS, SPPID, ISOMETRICS, PDS, Smart3D, ACAD.

073D-Laserscan & Modellierung

Creation of a digital twin according to the one-stop shop principle. Measuring, modelling of the 3D model from the point cloud and integration into the client’s technical documentation.

Ivana Bijelcevic

After graduating from secondary business school, I started as a back-office employee at AMR. I was able to learn many new things and tackle exciting challenges, so that today, after less than two years, I am responsible for Quality Management & Corporate Identity in the company. I am delighted to be part of a great team and look forward to my professional development.

Daniel Radl

AMR gives me the opportunity to work part-time alongside my studies. The individualised working time model allows me to flexibly coordinate my studies, free time and work. Working on interesting projects also enables me to gain important professional experience and make my contribution to the success of the company. I particularly like the ongoing development of business processes and the opportunity to play an active role in shaping them.

Alfred Rosenberger

I have been with AMR since 2012 and have gone through many professional stages within the company during this time. I'm currently working as a document controller on a major investment project, ensuring that the document control process is implemented in the project. A responsible task. Among other things, I ensure that everyone involved in the project has access to the latest version of the documents they need, so that everyone is working on, checking, and approving the correct version.

Rabih Akasha

After joining AMR, I quickly progressed through several positions within the company and am now responsible for combining 2D isometries into spatial 3D models. My next professional challenge will take me deeper into the field of visualization and digitization. I look forward to creating digital twins of plant systems based on the one-stop-shop principle. This includes 3D laser scanning, processing the data, and creating a 3D model in Smart 3D.

Peter Juran

As a trained toolmaker / mechatronics engineer, I have always had an affinity for technical tasks. So, it was a good fit when AMR offered me a position in their Turnaround Integrity Reliability (TIR) team. Currently, I work on the creation of safety concepts and take care of the comparison of as-built documentation and the actual status in a refinery. In this way, I make an important contribution to eliminating inconsistencies in the documentation.

Josef Schöny

Since 2006, I have been supporting the OMV maintenance team as an OWNERS ENGINEER. My tasks include planning, tendering, coordination, site management, and monitoring of the client’s suppliers and partner companies. This involves the renewal of low-voltage switchgear, frequency converter drive systems, turnaround preparations, and shutdowns. What I appreciate about my job is the varied work and the opportunities for further training.

Stephan Mayerhofer

Originally working for AMR in Schwechat, I took the opportunity to expand my experience abroad with another position at AMR in Burghausen. In my current role in the Inspection and Maintenance Department (IID), I carry out precise data recordings of equipment and complete their documentation. What I like about my job is the variety of tasks and the opportunity to acquire new knowledge.
