The requirements for technical plant documentation of process plants are diverse and challenging. Efficient organization and execution of the documentation service are indispensable for any company committed to the values of compliance, sustainability, integrity, and reliability. At AMR, we support our clients in setting up, operating, and continuously developing their documentation service. Partnered with our clients through multi-year framework contracts, our employees provide a wide range of services on-site for the maintenance, inspection, and project departments, all managed through a digital ticket system. These services typically include issuing, updating, correcting, or integrating existing data and plans into the client’s own CAD/CAE/SAP applications, as well as their administration.

COMOS is a CAD/CAE software application that is distributed by SIEMENS and is widely used on the market. Many plant operators use COMOS as interdisciplinary software in engineering and in maintenance and repair. As a member of the COMOS operator group, AMR is a sought-after partner both in an advisory capacity and in the implementation of projects. The staff at our COMOS competence centre will be delighted to support you with the implementation and administration of COMOS in your company. We are also glad to take on CAD/CAE orders for design/engineering in COMOS.

In the HEXAGON Competence Center, we have consolidated all our CAD/CAE resources, from juniors to administrators, who provide design, engineering, and consulting services in/for Smart 3D, PDS, ISOMETRICS, SPPID, all distributed by the software company HEXAGON Intergraph. In addition to supporting engineering/project assignments, our employees are also involved in the documentation service. They primarily focus on updating and maintaining the as-built documentation of our clients. This includes digitally incorporating analog (on paper) recorded corrections (so-called redlinings) into P&IDs, piping and instrumentation diagrams, isometries, flowcharts, or other schematics, as well as constructing, drawing, and modeling 3D models.

TIR stands for services in the areas of Turnaround, Maintenance & Inspection, which support the client in achieving their compliance, integrity, and reliability goals. We work closely with the client's organization/team. The resources employed are predominantly engineers and graduate engineers in the fields of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, and industrial engineering. Their tasks include, among others, the creation of studies and concepts, support in the planning, preparation, and execution of turnarounds, coordination and implementation of HAZOP measures, evaluation of monitoring equipment, and the creation of safety concepts to demonstrate compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive (DGÜW-V).

As a technical office, we offer interdisciplinary engineering services for process plants and the execution of projects as an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) provider. Our strengths lie in the disciplines of I&C (Instrumentation and Control) and plant/piping design. Upon our clients' request, we are happy to assign our specialized engineers, engineering and project managers through so-called OWNERS ENGINEERING to support the client’s project team or as on-site plant engineers. This allows our clients to bridge resource bottlenecks. For our experienced employees, this opens up exciting new challenges and opportunities to apply and expand their expertise.
